- Utah will open the season at home against the Milwaukee Bucks on October 30th.
- The Jazz are now 4-2 in the preseason.
- Utah presently has eight games scheduled for national TV broadcast this year.
- Look for rookie Andre Kirilenko to make a big impact for Utah this year due to the demise of the illegal defense rule. He fits the mold of a Dirk Nowitzki or Pedrag Stoyakovich.

Meet the Team
Jerry Sloan is currently in his 14th year as head coach. Sloan was was an all-star for the Chicago Bulls and was known for his hard-nosed defense during his 11 year career in the NBA. Starting Lineup: Karl Malone, number 32, power forward, 6'9", 270, age 38. Karl is 2nd all-time in scoring. Donyell Marshall, number 42, small forward, 6'9", 230, age 28. John Amaechi, number 13, center, 6'10", 270, age 31. Bryon Russell, number 3, shooting guard, 6'7", 225, age 30. John Stockton, number 12, point guard, 6'1", 175, age 39. Stockton is the all-time career leader in steals and assists. Sixth Man: Bryon Russell, number 3, forward/guard, 6'7", 225, age 30.
